We carefully inspect and pack every item before shipping from Japan. If you experience any problem with your order, please feel free to contact us. We will do our best to assist you.

Returns Summary

  • Please contact us within 7 days after delivery if you would like to request a return.
  • Unused items are generally eligible for return.
  • Please contact us before sending any item back.
  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Shipping fees, import duties, taxes, and customs fees are non-refundable.

Return Policy

Kimono Yukata Market Sakura accepts returns for eligible purchases. If you would like to request a return, please contact us within 7 days after receiving your package.

Items that can usually be returned:

  • Unused items received within the past 7 days.

Items that cannot be returned:

  • Items received more than 7 days ago.
  • Used, worn, or washed items. (Trying on is allowed.)

How to Request a Return

1. Contact Us

Please contact us before sending any item back.

Please include the following information in your message:

  • Your name
  • Your order number
  • The item you would like to return
  • The condition of the item

2. Return Shipping

After your return request is approved, please return the item within 10 days using a shipping method with tracking.

Please declare the package as "Returned Item" on the customs declaration form.

3. Refund

Once the returned item arrives and its condition is confirmed, the refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Depending on the condition of the returned item (for example, if a kimono is returned unfolded), a partial refund may apply.

Important Notes

Please return items in their original condition and packaging whenever possible.

Wearable items such as kimono or yukata should be folded carefully to avoid wrinkles or damage during return shipping.

Obi belts that have been tied, footwear with worn soles, or items with stains or odors cannot be returned.

If an item is returned in a condition different from when it was delivered, we may reduce the refund amount or refuse the return.

Colors may appear slightly different depending on your monitor or device settings.

Many of our items are traditional or one-of-a-kind Japanese products and may contain small characteristics related to age or craftsmanship.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

If your order arrives damaged or if you received the wrong item, please contact us as soon as possible after delivery.

Please keep the packaging materials and shipping label, and take clear photos of:

  • The outer box
  • The shipping label
  • The damaged area or incorrect item

The shipping carrier may request these photos during their investigation.

Customs Duties & Refused Packages

Import duties, VAT, GST, customs fees, and other import-related charges are the responsibility of the customer.

If a package is refused because customs duties or taxes are unpaid, shipping costs, return shipping fees, and carrier handling fees may be deducted from the refund amount.

If a package is refused, abandoned, or disposed of by customs or the shipping carrier, a refund may not be possible.
