We accept PayPal only.

Anyone can open an account for free and once you have opened your PayPal account, you won’t ever need to type in your credit card number when you buy something online.

Returns

Return Policy

Kimono Yukata Market Sakura accepts returns for all purchases. If you want to return an item for any reason after placing an order, please contact us within 20 days of receiving the item. However, there are some requirements for returns and refunds, so please be sure to read the following guidelines.

Items that can be returned or refunded:
  • Items sold by Kimono Yukata Market Sakura that are unused and were received in the last 20 days.
Items that CANNOT be returned or refunded:
  • Shipping fees (includes both shipping to you and shipping for the returned item)
  • Items that were received 21 or more days ago.
  • Items used once or more (does not include trying on)
  • Damaged or soiled items (excludes damage by the shipping company during transport)

Return Process

  1. Contact us by Email
    Please get in touch through the Contact Us form to let us know you want to return an item, and include the following details:
    • Your name
    • The name of the item you want to return and have refunded
    • Condition of the item (opened or unopened, tried on or unworn, used or unused)
  2. Ship Items to Return
    When you receive the email from our company accepting the return, please send the item to the address below by registered mail within 10 days.
    Please also list the contents on the invoice as "Returned Item".

  3. Refund
    When the returned item arrives at our company, we will check the item's condition and process the refund.
    • * The amount of the refund may vary based on the item's condition, so please be sure to read the "Important Notes on Returns" below.
< Items Damaged by the Shipper >

Very rarely, an item will be scratched or torn due to impacts during transport or by customs checks. In these cases, we will reship the item, so please make the arrangements by following the instructions below.

  1. Please let us know that the delivered item was damaged through the Contact Us form.
  2. Please take the package to the nearest post office in the condition that it was in when you received it and ask them to write a damage report.
  3. The damage report made by your country’s post office will be compared with the details our company reported to the post office in Japan.
  4. As soon as it is confirmed that they match, we will reship the same item right away.

Important Notes on Returns

・For unopened items

Please do not remove item from the packaging. Provide your own address label and box or bag for returning it, and then ship it back to us. When the returned item arrives, we will refund 100% of the item’s price.

・For opened or tried on items

To make sure the item is not creased, soiled, or damaged during transport, please fold it back into its original condition and put it in the original plastic bag it was in when delivered. When the returned item arrives, we will refund 70% of the item’s price.

  • * Please check the How to Fold video on the How to Wear page to see how to fold a kimono or yukata kimono.
  • * If you do not fold the item or do not put it in the plastic bag, we cannot give you a refund.

Obi, Footwear, Other Accessories
Generally, we accept returns only for items that are unused and were received in the last 20 days.

・Unopened items

Please do not remove it from the packaging. Provide your own address label and box or bag for returning it, then ship it back to us. When the returned item arrives, we will refund 100% of the item’s price to your PayPal account.

・Opened or tried on items

Please put it back into the original plastic bag it was in when delivered. Please wrap footwear in packing material and package them so they will not be damaged during transport, then ship it back to us. When the returned item arrives, we will refund 100% of the item’s price.

  • * An obi that has been tied cannot be returned, even if you only tried it on.
    When trying on an obi, please hold it against the kimono or yukata to check it without tying it.
  • * Footwear with worn or dirty soles cannot be returned. Please take care that the soles do not get worn or dirty.

For exchanges

Go through the entire returns process above, and then reorder the item. Also, please understand in advance that you will have to pay the shipping fees for the item(s) you reordered.
